Description
A store’s success is built one team at a time.
As a Deputy Manager, you take ownership of your area of the store, bringing together product, people, and performance to create a strong and consistent customer experience. Working closely with the Store Manager, you help lead the store and team with a clear focus on Customer Care, operational excellence, and achieving sales targets.
You combine a commercial mindset with a hands-on approach. Using KPIs, sales analysis, and commercial tools, you identify opportunities to improve performance and take action to drive results within your store. You use product knowledge, market awareness, and an understanding of current trends to maximize sales and enhance customer experience. From product placement and replenishment to managing deliveries, stock organization, and preparing for sales activity, you ensure your store is always aligned with brand standards and operational priorities.
Leading and developing your team is a key part of your role. You organize schedules based on business needs and productivity goals, ensuring the right level of coverage at the right time. You support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning while developing your team through daily communication, feedback, training, and clear expectations. You lead by example, creating a positive, dynamic, and inclusive environment where teamwork, accountability, and respect are part of everyday work.
On the shop floor, you always ensure strong execution and a high standard of Customer Care. You support visual merchandising that reflects current trends and highlights best sellers, while maintaining smooth store and stockroom operations. You confidently handle customer interactions and resolve issues with professionalism, always aiming to achieve customer satisfaction. You also supervise key operational procedures including till processes, administration, replenishment, Health & Safety, and company policies, taking action whenever necessary.
You contribute to a culture that is passionate, innovative, diverse, and sustainable. In the absence of the Store Manager, you take responsibility for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring the business continues to run effectively.
