Department Manager
Are you ready to lead and assist the store manager and deputy/assistant manager in the daily running of the store, supervising and coordinating all employee activities to meet company sales targets and ensure compliance with company standards? We’re looking for an experienced and passionate leader to take on the role as Department Manager in our store Bershka!
Key Responsibilities
- Product knowledge: Is interested in fashion, understands the collections in depth, can carry out commercial analyses and provides the managers with relevant feedback.
- Is aware of store Sales performance and effectively communicates it to the team.
- Understands the Visual merchandising guidelines and makes sure the store keeps up with image standards.
- Customer service: Ensures high standards of customer service are provided in the store, is always willing to help and solves issues involving customers.
- Effectively manages and participates in the Delivery process and stockroom organisation
- Shrinkage and Security: Knows and applies all internal procedures to control shrinkage and supervises inventories and applies all the necessary action plans to ensure the Company´s objectives .
- Trains, develops and motivates store staff with training sessions, talks (or other performance reviews) and development plans, and keeps the team up to date with all business objectives and the latest news.
- Guarantees staff wellbeing, the implementation of best safe work practices and the compliance of all Health and Safety regulations.
- Manages the resources available in store according to the company’s sustainability policy.
- Respects the opinion of others and promotes the company’s principles of diversity and inclusion.
