Role Purpose
The Campus Director leads the regional learning and development strategy for retail management, building leadership capability and strengthening business performance across the organization. This role is responsible for delivering a high-impact learning experience for externally hired managers, newly promoted leaders, and existing managers, ensuring they are equipped to lead teams, drive commercial results, and consistently execute company standards.
The Campus Director oversees the end-to-end Campus experience and partners closely with Retail, Commercial, Operations, and People teams to ensure training translates into strong store execution, talent development, and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Talent Development
• Develop managers and experts into strong, inspiring leaders through training in communication, feedback, delegation, teamwork, coaching, and talent identification.
• Lead the onboarding and development journey for externally hired managers and newly promoted leaders.
• Provide continuous, actionable feedback throughout the learning journey, reinforcing strengths and establishing clear development priorities.
• Ensure high-quality, consistent feedback from the Campus team and create clear development commitments at the conclusion of each training experience.
• Identify high-potential talent and provide meaningful insights to Retail and People teams to support succession and ongoing development.
Business & Commercial Capability
• Build strong business acumen by integrating company vision, product knowledge, customer insights, and store commerciality into the learning experience.
• Develop leaders' ability to analyze store performance, including P&L, productivity, and other key business indicators, and translate insights into action.
• Embed a 360-degree understanding of store operations, including workforce and schedule management, merchandise flow, stock control, omnichannel execution, and cross-section coordination.
• Keep the customer at the center of training, reinforcing the standards and behaviors that create a strong customer experience and drive sales.
• Strengthen planning, prioritization, time management, and organizational capability to support effective store leadership.
Campus Leadership & Training Excellence
• Lead the Campus team and ensure a consistent, engaging, and high-quality learning experience across programs.
• Adapt training and coaching approaches to different learning styles, experience levels, and development needs.
• Ensure training plans are well organized, effectively executed, and connected to the evolving needs of the business.
• Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate training effectiveness, identify capability gaps, and continuously improve programs and content.
• Champion compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and operational standards throughout all training experiences.
Profile & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, ideally as a Store Director, General Manager, Regional Manager, or in a comparable multi-unit leadership role.
• Strong understanding of retail priorities and the connection between Product, Process, and People.
• Demonstrated ability to translate company vision and strategy into practical store leadership behaviors and execution.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand store performance and coach leaders on the actions that drive results.
• Proven experience designing, organizing, and delivering effective training and development plans.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to lead and develop a Campus team while creating a high-performance, feedback-driven learning culture.
• Strong knowledge of company tools, processes, standards, and ways of working.
• High learning agility and curiosity, with the ability to identify emerging capability needs and proactively evolve training solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.

• Training is closely connected to business priorities and produces observable improvements in leadership capability and store execution.
• Retail and People teams receive clear, useful insights on trainee readiness, strengths, development needs, and talent potential.
• Campus programs continuously evolve as the business, customer, and organization grow.

Annual compensation range: Please reference the list below for pay transparency states: HI, IL, MD, MN (Jan 2025), DC, CO, NY, WA, CA, NJ (June 2025), MA (July 2025).
$175,000 - $200,000 +discretionary bonus
